Dealing with insurance can be very frustrating. The office staff at Therapy Works will work closely with you and your insurance. Close communication between our office, you and your insurance is crucial to making sure your child receives the therapy services needed. We can communicate with you in person, on the phone and by email. Please make sure our staff knows the best way to reach you. The following steps will help make sure you are able to access your insurance coverage. Contact your insurance company:
Does your insurance plan cover Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and/or Speech Therapy?
Determine if you have met the required deductible for the year and any copayments or coinsurance you may be responsible for.
Determine if there is a limit on the number of visits per calendar year or contract year?
Does your insurance require preauthorization for therapy services?
Contact us and discuss information you receive from your insurance company and discuss payment options.
We are providers for
We accept all insurances and are in-network providers for the following insurance companies:
- Blue Cross / Blue Shield
- Humana/ Great West
- United Healthcare
Please note: If you have changes to your insurance information, please notify our office immediately. Therapy Works will not be responsible for filing your insurance if we do not receive the correct insurance information prior to or at the time of your child’s visit.
Out of Network
We will bill your insurance even if we are not an in- network provider, but the benefit amount paid by the insurance company may be different than if we were in network. Some insurances allow out of network benefits and some do not, it is very important that you verify coverage for each therapy with your insurance.
Therapy Works accepts cash, check, credit card, debit cards and health savings cards as payment for services. If your child is covered only by private insurance or has no insurance coverage we offer a discount with early payment. Please contact our office to discuss this option.
